(American Heart Association) A removable, noninvasive, self-adhesive sensor successfully predicted worsening heart failure and the need for hospitalization in veterans several days before hospitalization occurred.The researchers used machine learning to analyze the data provided remotely by the sensor to detect if, and when, a patient's heart failure was worsening.
